DAIWA has now developed a specialized premium series of rods with exclusive features for fishing on small vessels such as kayaks, canoes, and belly boats. The Yak&Belly rods are specially equipped with extra-short lower handles for easy control and handling. Lightweight, slim, and extremely fast blanks offer perfect sensitivity and substantial power reserves. The overall lengths of 2.15 m or 2.25 m are specifically designed for short-range handling. The exclusive freely rotating DAIWA metal ring with a hook keeper on the handle provides additional safety, allowing the rod to be easily secured to your vessel with a safety cord if needed. As another security option, the safety cord can also be attached to the tapered aluminum ring in the middle of the handle. This Pro Staff series covers the most important fishing techniques and target species such as pike, zander, and perch.
