The hybrid concept of the Airity Hybrid series provides an extensive range of high-tech advancements with DAIWA's exclusive rod-building technology, combining unique components with modern design. For the tip and the two following guides, original Fuji SiC K guides are used, while the remaining guides feature DAIWA's unique AGS carbon guides. This hybrid concept clearly demonstrates the remarkable advantages of AGS guides in practical use – the SVF Nanoplus blank’s fast tip responds incredibly quickly without oscillation, thanks to the weight savings. DAIWA AGS guides are about 40% lighter than standard SiC guides with metal frames of the same size. The excellent hardness and torsional strength of carbon guides transmit all vibrations and contacts instantly to the blank and into the hand, resulting in incredibly sensitive lure contact, enhancing even the slightest bite detection.

The blanks also feature exclusive X45X technology. This special carbon fiber arrangement on the blank’s surface significantly improves compression and provides unmatched torsional strength under load. The X45X material also gives the blank’s surface a great carbon appearance. All models boast an extremely fast tip action with a rigid backbone – ideal for solid hooksets over long distances. The exclusive DAIWA Air Sensor reel seat is made from a composite carbon material, making it extremely lightweight, durable, and comfortable in the hand. The split handle made of high-quality AAA cork and EVA material also reflects the hybrid concept of this exceptional series. All rods from 2.4m in length include an internal balancing weight, further enhancing balance and feel during use.

The Airity Hybrid series covers the most important methods for predator fishing and is particularly suitable for fishing with soft lures. The 2.95m model was specifically developed for use on large rivers, canals, and lakes, allowing precise casting to distant spots with lures weighing up to 50g. The Airity Hybrid rods are delivered in a high-quality, well-padded transport case that accommodates the fully assembled rod.
