The Prorex AGS rods are equipped with nearly all the premium elements of DAIWA’s modern, exclusive rod construction technologies from Japan. These rods stand out for their extremely low weight, perfect balance, and exceptionally fast and sensitive action.
The range offers various specialized models that meet the latest technical requirements of modern artificial lure fishing, providing the perfect equipment for almost every spinning style. The SVF Nanoplus material ensures optimal blank strength – with Nanoplus technology, resin content in the blank is minimized, significantly reducing overall weight while increasing the blank's strength and speed. The blank transmits every lure movement instantly to the palm, allowing you to detect even the smallest and shortest bites. The X45 blank construction minimizes torsion and improves casting distance and accuracy.
The V-joint Spigot connection enhances the bending curve, ensuring a very even load distribution. Another standout feature of this rod series is the exclusive DAIWA AGS guides made from carbon. These guides are significantly lighter than conventional ones, enhancing the rod's action and sensitivity – making it easy to detect lure movement and quick bites. AGS rods feature extremely fast action with excellent sensitivity. The Air Sensor reel seat provides a comfortable ergonomic grip, allowing for fatigue-free long-term fishing. Finesse, Chebujig, Jigger, Sensor Jig models, and rods with a casting weight of up to 42g are equipped with a carbon butt section for improved sensitivity.
